anyone know what this is?

I found this back in 2011 when I first started and never knew what it was. Its not marked but rang up in the silver range. I cant find this symbol searching Hindu, Arabic, Jewish or anything else.

Due to the loop at the top, I'm guessing a pendant, and since I don't recognize the design, I'd say it is either a foreign language, or some kind of random design. Good luck on this one!
