95% silver! Yes I acid tested it. It is just silver. Found it at the edge of the shore with the waves splashing over it. It was deep, made a good tone but not real loud.

Thanks for the nice comments! It is a nice chunk of silver. Or a nice group of linked little pieces of silver.
I went through my other finds today and realized that this jinglebell thing is silver too! It is not marked so I acid tested the c*** out of it and it is silver. Bell and bale. I have never found a silver bell before. It was 50 feet away from the necklace. It's 12.2 grams.

What a nice heavy chain and very cool bell. I'll bet they were together at one time. You had a good day! Congrats and good luck on future hunts. : )
 
Nice! Don't find many with those box safety latches. I looked up 14k box safety latches like on the chain bracelet I found. Just a 14k box safety latch can cost $70 without the chain. So you might want to check out how much silver ones go for. I know they go for a lot more than a lobster claw clasp does.
