I am a journeyman union carpenter, doing mostly heavy industrial work.
Forms, scaffolding, racks, boilers, roughing/framing, bridge/overpass work, large pole barns, displays at auto shows, whatever comes down the pike.
Very rarely will I ever do residential work [no place to hide on them jobs]. Plus I just have a preference for industrial.
I also lay epoxy cement floors on the side and am a backyard mechanic and a musician [not yet famous].

Done a few things:
89-95 US Navy (FC) USS Missouri and USS Antietam
95-97 Scale Tech for Toledo Scales
97-02 Insurance Agent for family agency
02-Present US Army, MLRS(Rocket Jockey)

Deployed to DS/DS, then 2 other times with the Navy and then again in 03 for OIF. Going for a grand 5th time in the near future as a Firefinder Radar Chief.

Just started MDing and love it, I would love to take it with me to the ultimate sand box but not sure if I could bring it back.

Retired from the RV industry, which still seems to be going strong with the high fuel prices. Looking forward to some detecting and panning. First gold discovered in Nevada was about 150 feet from our front door where Gold Canyon enters the Carson River so the little guy and I should keep busy this summer for sure. Art & Artie

I'm a Union Staff Representative, I negotiate contracts, representing employees at State and Community Colleges and cities and towns in Massachusetts. I also represent members in grievance hearings and the State Labor Relations Commission. I previously worked for the Department of Mental Health at a State Hospital and retired from that job in 2002.

Before retiring on a medical disability, I worked 28 years for a local factory.
My title at retirement was "Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering Tech. Specialist". (I was actually a underpaid Engineer's flunky)!
! !I think I probably worked at the same place MoDigger worked, as a machinist?!

Happy Hunting Mr. Fish

My newest job is working at a supermarket. Mostly night stock, they want to put me on cashier but I hate dealing with people, especially customers, I've done it before and don't want to do it again. Hopefully I can get out of it and stick to night stock.

Full Time Day Trader, trade fx,ftse, dow,s&p,dax, mainly trade for short time scales(scalping) and hold some for 7-10 days depends on how i trade them normally via contract for differance (cfd) and Fixed Odds Trading, forms of trading only in the UK.

Gives me plenty of time to detect and provides a plate full of food on the table at the end of each day,of which i am truelly grateful.
