Introduced my good friend to his Chinese bride over 20 years ago. According to tradition I got a great pair of shoes for this, in this case a pair of nice hikers. So when I finally found this, I got instant translation service. Chinese cash coin 1795-1799. I know everyone’s got one but this is my first, now I’m in the club. It joins my Merry Widow.

Well done! I found mine a few years ago in a playground, but yours is in much better condition
