Between work and family obligations and bad weather, I'm sorry to say that it's been a couple of months since I've been able to get out detecting. Today was a beautiful day, and I was finally able to go out on a hunt at an older schoolyard that's produced for me in the past.
Besides the usual junk, clad and a couple wheats, I found two keepers: a super-toasty Indian Head cent (if you look closely, you can see a faint wreath and "One Cent" on the back), and a silver religious medal.
Not the Barber coins I'm still looking for, but it was still a beautiful day and it felt great to finally do some detecting.
Thanks for looking - HH!
