I was just curious, thought maybe you knew what it came off of. But you're right, it may have been part of a set of cufflinks

I would have to say the person was fairly well off. I would love to find out who it was and detect around their old house.

I had a couple of those years ago--may still be around some place--too much stuff. Seems like they were half dimes and had been raised some way. Sort of a repousse' look. About 10 years back I sold a lot of my collectible stuff and I think they went to ebay.
