I went back to my dump in the woods last weekend and came across a green bottle with a Tapered Collar and a pointed pear shaped bottom.
The bottle won't stand by itself because of the point. The bottle has three very cool little bubbles in the glass. Please reply if you have seen this bottle and know anything about it.

Thank you!

I'm not a bottle expert, but looking into an old coke bottle of similar design I found that they (the coke ones) were called "torpedo bottles".

http://www.antiquebottles.com/torpedo/

"The Torpedo bottles have a round end to prevent them from being stood up. The idea was that the soda kept in contact with the cork and stopped the cork from shrinking; the corks would dry up and shrink on upright bottles, causing the bottle to loose pressure."

This link has more information. If it doesn't load on the right section, scroll past the intro and click on the torpedo section to have it bounce you down the page.

I do see a bubble in the glass so it could have some age to it.

If it was wicker bound, those can go way back.

It's not a torpedo .

I bought a similar bottle at an antique show once, but i can't find it now. It was newer-looking than this one (less crudeness).

Imukdiver has it correct, wine bottle, imported most likely from Italy. Wicker wrapped. They can be older though, I've dug them in dumps that were not newer than 1910.

Tough to tell if it is modern blown bottle . Either way it’s kinda cool but carries little monetary value either way. But I like it.
