The reason I call it token hunting is because the main purpose for me to drive an hour to these little towns is to find tokens from those towns.
First place I hunted this morning coughed up a couple wheats and then went above and beyond and produced the rare, unlisted token in the photos. Looking at the token you can tell exactly where I was.....
I also dug an old 1929 King George Canadian penny, an old watch fob and my first silver pen. The silver eluded me in the two yards I hunted but I'm totally fine with that having dug that token!

Luv it when an un-listed token "re-writes the history books" !

I wouldn't say it's going to re-write any history books but it's definitely a "one of a kind" for now... I was just excited to dig another token

Great finds on that hunt, worth the drive for sure. I too like to find tokens as I have posted before. The history behind them really peeks my interest. I wonder if back in that time they had the equivalent of todays extreme coupon clippers?? Can you imagine hitting town with a pocket full of tokens? :)

Tundra you sure pull some amazing goodies out of the dirt over your way! Love the token(s) and that pen is sweet! Congrats and thanks for sharing!
