When i'm not sure about something I always put them in my finds box to check them closer later and if I'm still clueless ask someone else.

Roundish bent up brass scrap? nope not junk
Weird brass pointy thingy? nope not junk.

Good point ,I got a whole bucket of it I have to pick through. When I first started digging civ about 17 yrs.ago I threw things out that are now once again bucket listers for me. :lol:
