We hit the old one-room school house where my son found the 1926 Buffalo and 5 minutes into it he snagged this beautiful 1905 Indian Head Cent.
It rang up on his Ace350 as a solid penny signal, when I ran my ATPro over it before he dug it came in as a steady 72. I'm telling you folks he's getting to be a real gun.
He was with a friend of his who just got a new machine for his birthday and for the few hours we were out, it kept them off their
kindle's and out in the sun and dirt. I would like to think that they aren't too different from the kids who attended this school and lost their coins in the school yard. Or maybe this fun hobby brings them close to that.
