So much for having "warm" weather to make them come up, guess it all comes down to the right conditions. Nice find, keep checking that area.

Nice little black!! My favorite patch for those delectable early black delights was logged 2 years ago, now light gets in and it's filling in with saplings and stickers. The choice black morels are gone now , but I did find a few of the later more common morels. Congrats to you and good luck on finding more. I need to go fishing now, we always enjoy a mess of fried morels with Bluegill or Crappie. You gotta love spring!!!
