Very likely my last day detecting for 2012.. snowing heavily and ground freezing up. returned to a wooded park that's been good over the years, but ran dry.. until I got the MXT and D2 coil.
I could only bare the cold for about 45 minutes, enough to find a 1926 Mercury ( first one in a few years! ) and a nice 925 Silver chain with Jade pendant!
In just a couple months with the new machine I've found some amazing antique jewelry and coins!
Starting to feel like I can get silver every time I go detecting!! :D

You can definitely get silver every hunt as long as you put your coil over it :) congrats though. That is a pretty necklace. Very old looking

Yeah, could be old , was 4" down... same depth I find 20's and 30's coins. who knows..
Really surprised I missed this all the years I've detected the same area.

awesome! Let me know if you want to sell it. would make a great christmas give for the g/f

Bottlediger, PM me, I'd consider selling it. If you look closely at pick, there's chinese symbols carved in jade and I noticed very fine " made in Italy" on the clasp. 925 silver all around.
