What's the recommended way to ground balance on the beach.

How does one manually ground balance in normal people speak not Metal detector instruction speak laymans terms.

on the beach(wet sand) i first "auto" ground balance (hold button and pump coil up and down) then i'll kick it down a few notches by manually doing it (push GB button and use the notch disc + - button) on wet sand mine will auto balance around 18-20 and then i'll manually kick it down to 13-15 and it seems to run more stable, dry sand isn't to bad and i'll normally only "auto" balance unless it gets chirpy then i'll kick it down a bit. or you can skip the whole auto balance and just manually balance it down to whatever makes the machine run stable

I think what it looks like to me when you cross from wet to dry sand you have to rebalance constantly. Even if you go into the water you have to rebalance. Is that correct?
