I was very fortunate to squeak this out of a "pounded" park in town.
It was definitely on edge:yes:
I also saved a couple old wheaties, one semi-key date?

The strangest thing is that the 1913s rang in at 68-69 on my AT PRO, very unusually low for a wheatie??

Happy Hunting Everybody!

Congrats on the Barber Mat! I’d rather have that 13S wheat. One of only 4 wheats I’ve never found. The others are 1909S, 1909S VDB and 1922.

Thats totaly awsome.Great job, keep it up.
Thanks
Great save! We’re you using the 5x8?
Well I found the Barber with teh stock coil on the MAX and the wheats with the 5x8 on my PRO.
Man I wish I could dig up those oldies, nice work man!

Congradulations on the 100+ year old saves Matt.

In average condition that 1913 S is priced at 1,475 times it's face value👍.
I'll spend all year digging 1,475 of those little buggers and you just go out and dig 1.

Dig smarter not harder I guess. 🤔
Love the barber also .

Nice save on the Barber and wheat pennies! I've got thousands of wheat pennies that I've never taken the time to clean and look at the dates. That will give me something to do when I get too old to swing a detector. lol
