Aug 3 Finds

Quick hunt on Sunday, August 3rd. All tabs and clad, but they're points.

15.3 points the way I added them. See spreadsheet below.

Also found: Dog rabies tag dated 1959 and aluminum knitting needle...no points :no:

Aug 6 Finds

Good day today...3 hours hunting.

Below is the picture with all the finds including:

1. Wheatie 1958D
2. Silver Ring
3. Pull Tabs
4. Clad coins

Also there is a picture of the "925" on the inside of the ring to validate the silver. Note: I didn't put the FMDF-08 on this picture as the ring appears in the big picture with the control number.

Ok, I'll post my first pick. 21.5 points so far. My camera can't take close ups so I did my best in Photoshop so you can see the thimble is "sterling". It has a "C" with an "A" in it and says sterling above. I'll post the rest of my clad later, its all over the place, lol.

thats a nice thimble but its not jewelry or a coin so it doesnt count sorry. and how did ya come up with 6 points? are ya sure your lookin at the correct score system which is posted in the "contest info" thread...i dont think anything listed is 6 points.

also i came up with 31.25 points minus the thimble..wheats are worth 10 for vets

1 quarter ya get .25 points

and y should be! thimbles are always cool to find..all the ones i find tend to be smashed and made of brass or pewter.

45 Clad, pulltabs, and silver (925) ring. The ring is in the main picture and there are two others showing its detail.

My finds are gonna be slow the next few days. The contractors finished drywall and I gotta paint!!!! :no:
