Hello:

I have a brass cylinder with a unknown symbol on the bottom. I spent an hour on the internet trying to find that symbol. One end is brass but the other end appears to be?? and the hole could be an anomaly... It appears to have iron "connections" or grips on the sides. I have found lipstick cases but not like this....this area had late 1800's to early 1900's coins and items (model t parts.) Let me know and thanks again.

I'd tend to agree with it being a lipstick tube. Hard to tell from the pictures but is that a flower on the top? Either way that symbol is going to be the key to finding an exact match.
