well with being new and not knowing no better lol braved the 0 wind chill wind and had to get outta the house so went to beach to hunt armed with my brick hammer and detector,,,after finding my first gold ring before the snow,diffently hooked,,,well no silvers or gold or anything but clad,still was good to get out 
only bad part was not being able to get to most tarkets with it being frozen.
