I've narrowed my search to 2 units. But which is the best value for the dollar? Any thoughts? White's Beach Hunter vs Fisher's CZ-70 Pro? I will be mainly on the beach, some dirt inland, but no diving. I've pretty much decided on the Beach Hunter, but a friend is trying to sway me into the Fisher. I just HAD to ask before purchasing . . . .

I can't help you out with the Fisher but the Beach Hunter is a fine machine in and out of water and a couple of our posters use them quite successfully.
I would kill for a CZ20 though

Well, maybe not kill but you know what I mean Depends where your going to hunt. Check if the Beach Hunter will cope with the mineralisation in your area. It didn't in Southern California for me. I found the CZ70 to be a little deeper than the Fisher CZ 3D though never got tempted to upgrade from the old CZ6a (the rain proof CZ5).
In view of what you want to do and no trips in the water why not just get the fully featured Beach Hunter...the DFX.
