I've just had my third transmitter die. The last one I had for 3 weeks. I think it's from storing in a hot garage. The last two heat waves we've had has killed my transmitters. From now on, it gets stored in the air conditioned house when not in use.
 
Thanks for the info...good to know. Hopefully I won't have these issues considering I just won the entire wireless setup in Vaughan Garrett's find of the month contest.
 
Sensitive electronics should never be kept in a hot garage.

Now excuse me while I run to the garage get something I forgot...

A "hot" garage in Canada ain't got nothing on the mid day sun in Texas or any of the other southern states really...

It will get up to 100 degrees F occasionally in the garage. Specs say it can handle more heat than that. I don't think it can.
