I did a msg board search and didn't see anyone post on these guys. The stuff they are chiseling out of the mountains is insane. Seems unreal when you see it but I don't see how you can fake someone pick-axing gold boulders from hard volcanic crusty earth. :D

Amazing what time lapse and gold paint can do. Doesn't even need a pinpointer. How can she not say a word during all that excitement ?

Fake - I'm not a gold prospector, but to me it makes no sense for a fist-sized gold nugget to be in a sandy bank *above* the main channel of the river. Also the very angular rock in the first dig seems out of place at the riverside. I'd be curious what any gold hunters would have to say about it.

I mean everything in me is saying its fake but nothing jumped out at me as video altered or edited, other than the size of the gold boulders :D:D. Was kinda imagining this magical island in Indonesia with gold mixed into volcanic earth  but I guess if it really did exist, nothing stays secret for long and you'd need an army with you for protection.

Ok total BS!!! She gets a signal and pulls out a monster so called nugget and without even re scanning the hole she automatically keeps looking for another and pulls out 2 more just like she already knew they were there ! People will do anything for attention and you tube ratings. Total garbage!

:wow2: She found those a good 12 inches down with a $125 Bounty Hunter in all of that mineralized volcanic rock ??? !!!

Keep your eyes on the classifieds! CTX, Excal, and SovWOT for sale soon!

She needs to learn how to pan. With the nuggets she was finding, I like how she categorized the material, then just threw the large stuff into the river without searching through it or waving her detector over it.

You know its bs when : the silly guys head pops up out of the lower right corner in the video ! That's something I would do ....

A couple of giveaways: The 'nuggets' are stream-rounded but are surrounded by angular rocks. Sorry, nature does not work that way!:dontthinkso: And notice that all the debris she pulled out of the deep hole in the middle of all those angular rocks was sand with some angular pebbles -- looks like the hole was excavated, salted, then filled in with sand, to be re-dug and videoed.:ohthedrama::sarcastic: Nice paint job on the 'nuggets' though!

;) I started to even look at the wrist tension and imagining how heavy those gold boulders must be and if it looked like they were having a hard time holding them with one hand :D I don't think even the youngest rookie would dangle an 8lb gold rock over a stream bank to wash it off

Amazing yes?
Nope, not at all. Just another way to make a dollar, gain social popularity and make fools out of thousands of viewers who believe what they are seeing is real.

There are many many more of these channels that are showing outlandish finds, all for the show. Youtube has made it very lucrative for these people, so why not? All you have to do is grab your video camera, stage some incredible finds, have a attention grabbing title and photo, then BOOM! You are off on a adventure of lies all for the likes, subs, fame and ultimately money. There are definitely channels that show real treasure hunting, but the number of fakes is growing rapidly.

Seems like a lot of chiseling and axing for some views but I guess you're right, if the story is amazing enough they'll get the views and the $$$. I saw where one of the wood turning guys shared how much $$ he was making off of the views for his videos. Wild stuff and his videos actually show real talent  here it is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YnMcDU2JVk

I'm with you on this one.. noting jumped out as obviously fake.. If it Was salted they did a hell of a job.. that big one was in there pretty dang good.. she had to work it to get it out.

In Australia they can get pretty dang big, So I don't know.. I do know I would "like" to believe..

as to the girl.. that is my kind of girl, doesn't mind the nails getting dirty, can swing a hammer to a screw driver with out hitting herself, Seems to work hard and she was VERY pleasant to look at.. fake or not.. I enjoyed the video so Thumbs Up !
