Waukegan Beach is an easy beach to detect. Sandy and pretty much iron free.

Seen a handful of detectorists out there at times. Seems to get lots of use, especially on weekends.

Anyone been there lately?

Yes been there a bunch of times, cleaned up a lot of pull tabs and Corona Caps for you. :)

How did the hunt go?

Two mini EPNS goblets, one man's ring of unknown composition, one golden earing, key chain, one bling earing, and some clad.

Also a folding chair sitting in about three feet of water

I couldn't believe the two goblets in the water.

My detector's batteries died so I left about 3

That's awesome...I love the goblets.

I'm thinking of hitting Loyola Beach again on Thursday.

Waves are estimated at 1ft, temps about 78.

I've got Dune shovel coming I need to test.
