Garrett GTI 2500 vs. Treasure Commander TC3X

Any thoughts on which is the better purchase? the Garrett 2500 is much more expensive new but i can get a used one for the price of this newly released Treasure Commander TC3X with touch screen and gps.

All of your thoughts would be greatly appreciated

The TC3X is really just Duck Dynasty merchandise. Made in China. The features it has are really nothing more than just filler features. They will have no effect on your hunt or your finds. I do not know the price of the TC3X, but if it was just between that and the 2500 I would go with the 2500. Also, don't be afraid to look at other mds that are made by well known manufacturers: Fisher, Garrett, Minelab, Whites, Tesoro.

see if you can find some tutorials with either one on utube. I've found I can't stand the sound of some machines or their displays that I was thinking of getting.
