To all nugget hunters out there what might be your thoughts on this new detector. And the price will sure drop the old gold bug II down. I herd that this to be on sale at the end of Janunary. MIKE

The 5-inch coil is standard and the 11-inch coil is an extra option?

Shouldn't it be the other way around?

P.S. Hey Mike,

Big George turned to Sam with his gold in his hand,
Said, "Sam, you're a lookin' at a lonely, lonely man.
I'd trade all the gold that's buried in this land
For one small band of gold to place
On sweet little Ginny's hand."

If I missed a word or two, it's been about fifty years....

I believe the GMT and the TDI are about the best on the market... this may be good as well, but since I have the other two, I will let someone else test it. RickO

Yes I am interested in the performance of the new Bounty Hunter/Fisher/First Texas/Titan/Gold Bug too.

No. Since it's a nugget shooter, you want a smaller coil to eliminate hot rock masking. The smaller coil doesn't cover as much area, so it will do that. It will also allow you to get into smaller areas to find that nuggets set into, like around rocks and crevices.
