Cleaned a few very crusty non key date wheaties with my little home made electrolysis system... Worked great with distilled water and sea salt. Here are some pics.

First pic: Typical looks before and after.

Second pic: Clean electrolyte.

Third pic: Fizzing away absorbing and discharging electrons and gunk.

Fourth pic: Nasty electrolyte after about 10 minutes use.

Fifth pic: With a little light rubbing - Voila -Clean coin! :yes:

Nice demo!

I had similar results on a 1969 (40%) Kennedy half that was so crusted I wasn't sure it was a coin.
 
Nice. I know it works but I seam to burn up the power supplies after a single use. What's the specs on your power supply?
