Haven't been able to swing for a few months now due to moving but got amazingly lucky today while visiting the 'shiny' counter at the thrift store!

Awesome --- I have found gold at the thrift stores, but nothing that large.
 
You gotta be kidding about that. Sure I know store workers can be stupid, but that stupid?

It is 1 gram of 24K

The chain and bezel are 14K as well, so value is at least slightly over the spot price for a gram. :p

Id say the workers just weren't paying attention - the girl we checked out with gave it a long sideways glance as she rang it up! :laughing:

I mean, this is Alaska, everyone knows what gold looks like here! :lol:
