Several years ago I found my first Indian cent
and the lower half was cut off similar to your Merc, so no date, oh well thats how it goes sometimes, congrats. :?:

Nice clean-clipped coin! So there's a good chance the other half is still there too. Good luck with that challenge. If you do find it, you get to count 2 silvers from one coin. :yes:
