Prizm 4

I have a Garret Ace 250. The local pawn shop has a Whites Prizm IV at a reasonable price. Would this be an upgrade or are both machines about the same. Also keep in mind I have alot of luck with my Ace. In the 2 or 3 years I have had it I have dug maybe 40 silver coins with it.

I sold my ace to a Friend. He to found a Prizm IV for $150 at a pawn shop.
First thing he notice is that it has a very low volume with no adjustment, unless the speaker is cracked or bad. next is that it uses 2 9v batteries that dont last very long and are expensive.
he prefers the ace over the Prizm IV

I gave my Prizim III (only difference between III and IV is notching ability) to my father-in-law to let him play around in his yard. There is no comparison (IMHO) between the 250 and any Prizim...the 250 is far better.

keep saving$, walk past that pawn shop with the Prizm.
