So, before I purchased my Ace 300, a friend says he bought a MD off a friend at a yard sale. Like 25 bucks. Maybe 10 bucks, anyway. So, he sends me a picture of it and wants to know if it is a good one, great one, trash, etc. He has never used it.
I like it too. 
It has all metal, disc, and tone. 
Disc can be set in the fallowing: take out iron, then gold/aluminum/nickel. Pennies, dimes, quarters, and silver can't be disc'd out, I believe. Tone uses your disc settings, but gives gold/nickel a low tone and give pennies, dimes, quarters, and silver a high tone.
