AT Pro with a NEL

Got a new NEL Storm coil for my Pro yesterday. Headed out to a spot I hunted dozens of times last year. I hit it so hard .... when I headed home on my last hunt I figured I was done with the place.
Anyway .... hit it again yesterday just to try out the Storm and ... what a difference! Two silvers ...one being the oldest coin I've ever found. Also found a few clad and pennies and the usual trash too ...but over all ... I was totally impressed with the Storm. More depth for sure over the stock coil. I ran zero discrimination and sensitivity backed off a notch. FUN!

Thanks for that information. Sometimes putting a new coil on a metal detector is like getting a totally new metal detector. It changes many variables.

Congrats on the coil,and the silver...Hoover boys swear by that coil,and they make killer finds.Ive used the tornado on the at pro,wasn’t bad to swing at all.

actually the nels coils are lighter than the garrett coils. I couldnt believe it myself but i have the 15 inch from nels for my ace 250.

Been out twice with it now and never noticed any weight issues. Never even thought about it until it was mentioned here.
