Never underestimate the possibility of even what looks like junk.
Well I went to the city park for a quick hunt and the third target I thought was a piece of wire. I was wrong. I should have known by the numbers, it read a 12/30 on my E-Trac, but I got down about 7" and it looked like a piece of wire. A common find in this 130+ year old park. I could see a part of it and it was stuck so I stuck the old 12" shaken drive in and started prying.
A bit too late I saw it looked too shiny to be rusted iron and I could then visualize it as a possible bracelet. Sure enough, I dug around it and pulled it out but had already damaged it. I believe it is a silver bracelet that had turquoise stones at one point. I have started to try and get it back to shape but I should have known better.
Either old or homemade it has no stamping, but I can tell it is silver.
Here is a picture once I first realized it could be a silver bracelet.
