Surprise eyeball in the park

found this weathered bullet in the park while walking my dog. At first glance, I thought CW three ringer.

But then logic took over. Not in an area of civil war action and that would be too good to be true.

But I guess it is modern, but what? looks like 9mm in size. But it does have three distinct rings.

what do you guys think?

Looks to me like a Williams Regulation or a Williams Cleaner Type II.

Check for yourself with the image. I think you've got a CW bullet.

Thanks for the picture of the CW bullets.

I am still not convinced. The rings on my found bullet seem to be wider and the head of the bullet is more rounded than more cone shaped.

I would love for it to be CW, but want to be certain.

By the way loved your post on finding rings.

Great tips, I had been hunting tot lots around the slides and swings with no luck.

hunt on the outside of the swings and tot lots. where Mom's sit with their blankets and stuff.

Please, an accurate diameter is very helpful.

If about 9mm then modern cast bullet and could be .38 cal (9.65mm).

Cast lead bullets with lubricate grooves are common and modern.
