Hey guys,
2019 has been a absolute crazy year! I needed to go and do 1 last hunt for 2019. I went to a elementary school today. My first time there. I spent 4 hours hunting and brought in $23.90 in clad! I surpassed my goal of hitting $1,500 in clad for 2019.
I found a beautiful silver ring. Rang in at 34 on my Nox. I found 3 dollar coins. That is rare for me to find. 2 of the dollar coins were in the same hole! I also found a crazy 6 silver dimes about 1 inch from the surface!! How unusual is that? I can under stand regular dimes but silver?? All of them were 1964.
I then got a 27 on my Nox. Thinking it was a dime, it turns out that it was a gold ring! I looked at it thought it was plated gold with silver underneath. Looking closer I soon realized that it said 24K!!!!! WOW! I have never found 24k ring before. Comes in at 4g. I could not believe it came in at 27?? 99 percent of the time it would be a dime. What a terrific ending to a great year!
Here is a pic of my new carbon fiber shaft for my Nox 800. I LOVE IT! It weights much less and it looks cool!
We will see what 2020 brings. I will not bring in that mega clad though.. Looks like that boat has sailed for at least while. Time to find more gold..
