Does anyone know of any individuals or small companies that make digging tools for metal detecting?...I already know about grave digger tools,Excalibur’s tools..just wondering if there’s anybody else out there..and yes already know about predator, leasche, radius etc...just interested in knowing if anybody knows of any other little guys...some of the best equipment I’ve got is made by individuals and small companies...thanks and happy holidays to all my fellow dirt diggers...

I bought an Excalibur shovel that was longer than what was available at the time. The builder worked with me and got me the length I wanted. The workmanship is quality and the shovel is holding up well.

Really, I can't say enough good things about it. It's an excellent, and durable tool for the beach and the woods. It's precise enough for parks and manicured lawns as well.

+1 gsmith, I know this builder personally. We hunt together. I've been lucky enough to be able to try out his prototypes the last couple years. I've bought 2 of his shovels. Great product. It's the only shovel I use. He hand makes all of them and has many options as far as style and length. Reach out to him.
