Hunt at a 1770 mill and home

I received permission to hunt a old mill built in 1770 and the guy told me it had been hunted before. As soon as I get there I see dug pieces of metal laying on rocks and fallen trees then I seen plugs everywhere:( I managed to pull a V nickel from the mill right in the middle of the road that leads to the mill. Then I went to another permission house that I thought would be killer but I only found 1 coin a 1892 Indian head penny. Ty for looking and HH.

My eyes see "1882" on the Indian penny.

They don't have houses like that here in S. Cal! :shock::lol:

What a great old place, it would have been nice to have been the first hunter there, can only imagine what was found. A nice recovery though, congrats!

I would grid that baby off and hunt it SLOW with 6 inch coil. There has got to be more goodies there. Nice hunt... fantastic looking spot!
 
What a hauntingly beautiful old house! Love it. Shame the grounds are so overgrown. Got to be more goodies just out of reach. Congrats on a great opportunity. Can't wait for this snow to melt up here.
