Vice admiral Edward Vernon button found

Trying to find out any extra information on this vice admiral Edward Vernon button that I found. I dug this in King George county Virginia. I have found that this button most likely comes from the 1740s to 1750s and I haven't been able to find another button depicting the same image. and I've only been able to find one other button with Vernon on it that is an octagon but different image. Any information that anyone knows and could share would be great. Thank you so much.

Different, I have found several of his lead medallions over here in England.

That is a very nice button. Seems Old Vernon was a big celebrity in his day. Mt. Vernon was even named for him. Hope you can find out more about this button.
