Default any value to silver plated?

My mom has a bunch of old odd and ends silver plated silverware and dishes and so on. Is there anything a refnary can do with this stuff?

Refineries probably won't touch it.A suggestion might be one-a those silverplate/silverware replacement outfits that people use to replace missing or damaged flatware sets.

A recycler will pay a metal out price, but it's no where near what you might be expecting. Figure on about 1.50 per pound

I had some, my local recycle place paid me brass price as they were plated over brass.
