I found it in pretty nice soil. If this had been dug in Alabama where I used to live, I'm sure it would have been more toasted. I was amazed at how shiny and detailed it was when I dug it...I did nick the rim though. But I never plan on selling it so it's all good!

I am just seeing this now Rick. What a looker she is! My first and only CC mint mark is also 1876, just the quarter variety. That is easily a $100 coin all the way. Gotta get that permission though kid. Without that it can bite you in the a$$ once in a while bud...
