Had the afternoon free but didn't feel like going anywhere . Decided to hit the hill on my property again . Was stoked last night as I found 2 rusted bad pocket knives & a 1946 penny . Motivated today so I spent 2 hours digging expended bullets & brass ! 
Headed back swinging at random , more bullets , a '64 Lincoln & hit this loud signel . Pulled the handle first then got another signel a foot or 2 away & the cup was pretty much on the surface ! Go figure , I've covered this area before as it's maybe 50' from the house ! 
The handle has what looks like a cat on the top & a bird in the curlycue at the bottom . It's plated & about 5-6" across . Can't believe somebody would trash something this nice . So what is it , plated tin ?
