Hey folks, today I got out with three of my buddies, John, Tony, and Bill. We hunted a large park, where we have had lots of success. It was very warm today, and I was hunting on no sleep from last night, so I wasn't in great shape during this hunt. We all pulled several old coins from here today. My take on the day was, ten Wheat pennies, it looks like the oldest is a 1916 S. Two more IH pennies, a 1903, and what looks like a 1900. One 1928 Mercury dime, two sharp Barber dimes, a 1908, and a 1912. And another beautiful SLQ, a 1926, that is a great condition, with lots of detail. The two relics on the day were, a small buckle, with a nice green patina on it, and an old broken Basco key, that looks like it has a local gas station company, from back in the day stamped into it. Most of the silver we have dug here were strange signals, I have been basically only hunting by ear (tone) and depth. The numbers I rarely remember. But I do remember on the Mercury dime, I took a chance to concentrate on the numbers, and I noticed they were bouncing all the way from 12-33 to 12-44. So I thought that was interesting. Well anyway here are the pics, I also included a picture of the 1908 Barber in the hole as I found it. Thanks for looking Everyone, and Happy Hunting Everyone! :)
