Found this nice button today from around 1870 grenadiers button
cool huh??

Sooooo peeved off that i scraped it as i was digging it up

oh well after so many tons of trash you get a little impatienet some times huh?? well maybe its my age and i'll mellow out with time and not rush the digging

Nice find! Didn't know the grenadiers still had their own division in 1870!

Sorry, didn't notice you were from France. No wonder I couldn't remember reading about grenadiers in the Civil War battles...

Managed to pick up 4 others at a yard sale (in france they are called vide greniers) I think some maybe from 1914

Terrific find ! I've scratched a few nice silver coins with my screwdriver too , so I know the feeling...but if you treat every target like a fragile egg , you spend so much time on the endless junk that you may not even get to the good items in order to scratch them . Roadrunner_426
