Had a good day today, scored my second Merc 1927. Also a few wheaties, A 1923,1934 the rest are in the 40s. Buffalo nickel and a cool buckle, if anyone knows what type of buckle it is or was used for let me know please. Also got my first ring .925 sterling.

hey - nice stuff there.

Check on the buckle for a date. sometimes there is a date. I have found a couple similar buckles and I think the ones I found had something to do with horses due to the place they were found. May well be from the 1800's.

Like the ring too.

Didn't find a date, I'm thinking it was on a horse or used to strap down something, the place I've been hunting is an old farm field which is now a park.
 
I consider that a great day! Nice finds.
