Got up early the other day and went on a 7 hour hunt. I found 7 wheats today ranging from 1940 to 1956. Spring hunting here in Southern Oregon is very wet, and most the shallow holes I dug filled with water. I got a iffy 27 - 28 signal and dug down 7" and discovered the 1942-S Mercury dime. That makes four 1942-S Mercs I've found now. Later in the day I dug a 1963-D silver Roosevelt dime, making my silver count for the year at 11, and my wheat count at 22.

Nice job on the silver & wheats! Allow me to add another compliment on your photography; I especially like the first couple of pictures.

Nice, I like the way you threw spring hunt in there.:laughing: Well it least it won't be long. Congrats on the silver and wheats. We don't find too many S mints around here. And if you can keep that silver to wheat ratio up it should be one hell of a year. Good luck Mark
