I just started doing this 2 weeks ago. There are very few people around here that do Mding. I went across the street from my house where there is a church that is no longer in use. It was built about 1845. I've dug more trash than the garbage man picks up.
 
I and my wife are the only ones in this area as well. Makes it nice because I pride myself in leaving no trace that I dug, anywhere.

I find digging trash as price I have to pay to get to the treasure under the trash. I have dug more trash then treasure but keep reminding myself that my turn will come. Just wish it would hurry up, is all.

Great name...! Welcome from Socal and its hot....:) Good luck with all that hunting....the goodies will come. Im 3 weeks in and check my sig.....not bad for 3 weeks and I get trash too.
 
Welcome from Arkansas. Went out Saturday from 6 till 9 am. Three cents and a bunch of trash. Got too warm so until next time.
