Hi, I am in Bradenton Fl, I .have a dfx300 I got used with the 300 coil.
Is there anyone around here that also has the same setup ?
I have tried resetting it, and I get indications of coins, and foil and tabs,
but when I dig, I sometimes find trash only or nothing at all.
I have air tested it with coins, and it does indicate them correctly.
I have tried burying coins, and it picks them out too.
I was thinking if someone else has one, I could hunt behind them and
compare results. I would like to try in my own yard first, just as kind of a
control. I have tried some local parks, but they have a nice layer of gravel
under the surface, which makes things a bit difficult.
My next option is to send it to whites to get it gone thru, but I would like to
compare it to a known working one in the hands of someone with experience
with it.
