Grabbed my sidekick, the XLT and headed out to an abandoned playing field. Approximate (3) hour hunt found a total of (45) coins, of which (21) were nickels including a 1939 and 1954 as well as a 1952 wheatie.
Every nickel was a minumum 4 inches deep, approximate. No idea as if this could be a result of the soaking this area took yesterday.

Rings a junker as well as the gold colored part of an earring. The Disney "Ski Shawnee"pin was a kool find though.
Still felt great to swing.
Happy Hunting

Hey Joe....what do nickles ring up on the vdi on the XLT?.... just curious.....solid 20 sometimes bouncing 18-20 on he MXT....

Nickle killer! Congrats! Those things are always puzzling with the varied signals in different types. When I think Im getting it down pat, they throw me a loop.
Buffs are even more bizarre.
