Tesoro Tiger Shark?

I have a question for TS owners... I have heard from some that the coil tends to float a little or that it tilts and has trouble staying flat along the bottom. Any truth to this or does it stay down pretty well?

Also, what is the freq. it runs on and is it able to mounted to a belt? Thanks!

Hi, my coil did not float or I have not noticed. The plastic bolt must be tightened well but even then I sometimes adjust the coil with my foot. Tesoro states that it runs at 12.5 kHz. You can definitely belt mount it - but you need to get some kind of pocket for it.

I mount my Sand Shark (same box) on my chest. You can make straps to do this or buy the Tesoro hip pouch and made a chest mount. I bought a camera chest mount for active photographers who ski or any active sport. Works great.

thanks for the info! I hear Tesoro's are great for Gold finding... are they better/more sensitive than the AT Pro, Excal, Fisher CZ? Any testimonials out there??? :?:
