Sterling Turquoise Cross

Found this metal detecting. Sterling Turquoise Cross weighs .26 ounces. I know the melt is around $7.
Could it be considered antique or otherwise valued more than melt?

Unless it's something special or very old, i would say it is not worth a whole bunch. I found a sterling ring with a big turquoise stone thought it might be worth a little. After searching th web i found they are a dime a dozen so to speak. Found it retails from $40 to $70 bucks. But hey it is still a cool find and is deffinatly worth something

Got a bad feeling about the "turquoise"......the color looks more like dyed Howlite....or plastic......

I was thinking that it was small scrap turq embedded in resin.

Yeah, from the picture it doesn't look like Turquoise.

I agree. I have a silver ring with scrap red coral (verified by a jeweler) inlaid with resin. Nice find, I'd keep it! HH
