Unfortunately, not found by me. DCK John again pulls the first gold of the year. We made a road trip to nearby Garden City for a tot lot shuffle. We both did well on the normal goods but the gold came from the last lot by John. I found two rings, a quarter spill of 6 quarters, and a one hit pipe. I did get the first ring of the year, but they were both cheap one. Oh well, just being able to hunt in our area on January 2nd is a rarity.

Great job of cleaning out the tot lots! It is a rarity to be able to hunt on the second day of the year, and I'm not complaining about it at all. I'm located near the Ohio/Michigan line and I'm loving the fact that I can hunt at this time of the year too.
 
Nice going! It was warm here today but the rain sent me running for the car minutes after I started swinging. Oh well!
