I don't pay alot of attention to the numbers but I know the Barber dime rang up like a Wheat cent at 12-41. When you get deep signals the numbers are off sometimes so I dig the deep ones based on the sounds. I have my E-Trac set up to a high pitched conductive squeal when it hits silver. I had over a hundred silvers last year but this year was sort of a bummer because I have had two knee surgeries. The best advice I can give a new E-Trac owner is to go slow. Then when you are going slow go slower! Some machines are meant to swing fast but not the E-Trac. I would have been just like the guys who hunted the area before and ended up with nothing but because I went so slow the machine zeroed in on the silver. Good luck with your new machine.
