I miss my dad. He passed in 04. He was 86. Watched him take his last breath in a hospice bed in my living room. Great man and a wonderful father.

I miss my dad, he died in 1999, when I was 22 and a senior at college.

Being the Next of kin at 22 and having to take care of the "business" part of someones death/funeral was very hard.

I always get teary eyed when I hear.
"in the living years" by Mike and the Mechanics.

I am sure my dad would have loved to go metal detecting.

I miss him very much. My father passed away in 83' from a massive coronary at age 37. I was 9 years old. I see more of him in myself every day. I am sure he would be proud of where I am today and I have no clue if he would be into this hobby. Didn't get to know him well enough to say so. He would have been 65 a week from today...
